Who we are?

The Central American-Dominican Council of Textiles and apparel (CECATEC-RD) is a nonprofit and regional organization which integrates the associations and chambers of the apparel and textile sector in Central America and Dominican Republic, representing and suggesting strategies for promotion, development and protection of the industry in the region.

Our mission

The mission of CECATEC-RD is to promote the capacity of the textile and apparel industry of Central America and Dominican Republic; to anticipate and propose lines of actions for better access to markets and represent its members in the commercial and political issues.

Our objectives

To promote the capacity of the CAFTA-RD region through the creation of a networking and information platform.
To promote the integration of the members association through consensus building.
